The proper temperature of water. The right time for steeping. It seems very particular and I guess you could say we're tea/coffee nazi's considering his fulltime job is a barista at one of the best coffee shops in the city. Where everything is the same there. But I'm telling you, its the best tea you'll ever try. And remember to always preheat your vessels. Preheat your cups, your tea pots. Whatever you're using. My fiance drinks trader joe's sleepytime tea every afternoon before bed. It's a chamomile and mint blend. We live in Alabama and there's no trader joe's anywhere around here so he has it mailed from California lol.
